Privacy & data
What we store
We store normalized public domains, check results, search timestamps, and categorized reports. Public domain checks and submitted reports can appear on service pages. Public IP checks remain private and are excluded from public feeds and indexed pages.
What we discard
Email mailbox names, URL credentials, paths, fragments and query strings are discarded before storage. Full email addresses are never stored or shown in public activity.
How long we keep data
Raw checks, search events and reports are retained for 30 days by default. Daily totals are retained for up to 12 months. Settings can shorten these periods. Rate-limit hashes rotate daily and are retained for up to 26 hours.
Your browser and repeat reports
Favorites and language are stored locally in your browser. Secure first-party session cookies protect forms and help prevent duplicate reports. Reports use a keyed visitor hash; rate limits use short-lived keyed IP hashes. We do not publish visitor identifiers.
Public DNS provider
For public DNS, website and email-domain checks, our server sends the normalized public domain to Google Public DNS over verified HTTPS. Complete email addresses, URL credentials, paths and query strings are not sent to that provider. For website icons, our server retrieves and caches the public favicon. Your browser loads only our cached PNG, so listed websites do not receive your browser IP through icon requests. Successful icon lookups are cached for up to seven days, and failed lookups for six hours.
Trackers and hosting logs
No advertising trackers are loaded by this implementation. Optional Google Analytics loads only after you allow it. Only public page categories and general actions are sent; diagnostic inputs are excluded. Change your choice in Analytics preferences. Hosting access logs are separate.
